2023 Toyota Camry vs. Nissan Altima

Comparison

Both the Toyota Camry and the Nissan Altima demonstrate the best the industry has to offer for midsize sedans, with sporty styling and plenty of power. But the Toyota Camry proves superior, thanks to its more powerful engine and unbeatable combination of impressive fuel economy ratings, comfort, handling and style – all with the reliability consumers expect from Toyota. See for yourself how the features of the Nissan Altima vs Toyota Camry compare.

The Nissan Altima became a contender in the midsize car segment in 1992. While pre-2016 units saw CVT problems, they delivered more tech and provided a fun driving experience. Now in its 6th generation, the Nissan Altima comes in its most refined form yet. With an improved Xtronic CVT transmission, bigger frame and an array of modern features, the Nissan Altima vies for its own space in the midsize sedan market.

The Toyota Camry is a car beloved for its reliability, durability and practicality, with a history that spans 40 years speaking volumes about its success. The 8th generation retains all the Camry’s best traits and comes with a new design that doesn’t just catch your attention - it demands it. Modern tech, a handsome new design, a 40-year history of proven reliability, and Toyota’s legendary track record for building and maintaining quality vehicles make the Camry a strong contender in this vehicle segment.
