2024 Toyota GR Supra vs. Nissan Z
Performance
- The Toyota GR Supra 2.0 has a 2.0L Twin-Scroll Single-Turbo Inline 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine, generating 255 horsepower at 5,000 to 6,500 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,550 to 4,400 rpm. On the other hand, the Nissan Z does not have a 2.0L engine option.
- Equipped with a 3.0L Twin-Scroll Single-Turbo Inline 6-cylinder DOHC 24-valve engine, the Toyota GR Supra 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and 45th Anniversary Edition generate 382 horsepower at 5,800 to 6,500 rpm and 368 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,800 to 5,000 rpm. The Nissan Z Sport and Performance trims come with a 3.0L twin-turbo DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 384 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 to 5,200 rpm.

Technology
- The Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Premium and 45th Anniversary Edition come standard with an 8.8-inch touchscreen equipped with Supra Command, including touchpad control with navigation, AM/FM, Digital Audio, wireless Apple CarPlay® compatibility, voice recognition, a 3-month SiriusXM® trial, and USB /Bluetooth® connectivity. These features are also available as a package option on the 2.0 and 3.0 models.
- On the Nissan Z side, the Sport trim features an 8-inch NissanConnect® color touch-screen display, while the Performance and Nismo models have a 9-inch touch-screen display. Android Auto™ compatibility is standard on all Nissan Z trims, but wireless Apple CarPlay® integration is not available on the entry-level Sport model and is standard on the other models. A 3-month SiriusXM® subscription, Bluetooth® audio streaming, and voice recognition are standard across all trims.
- The Toyota GR Supra 2.0 comes standard with a 4-speaker sound system, while the 3.0 model includes a 10-speaker 205W HiFi sound system.
