We're about more than cars - we're a mobility company, creating better ways to move people, whether across town or across a room. We are working to connect people to educational opportunities and jobs, and improving access to critical goods and services.
Cities that have developed rapidly face a number of transportation challenges. The Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF) is a great way for Toyota to use our technological and environmental expertise to help organizations address urban transportation challenges and expand personal mobility.
By working collaboratively with nonprofits, we're helping to address basic needs like food insecurity, improving the environment, and assisting communities to prepare and recover from disasters.

Our years of manufacturing experience have taught us that small improvements can make a big difference — and we've learned that this approach can help other organizations too. So, for more than 25 years, we have shared our know-how with other manufacturers, nonprofits and community organizations to help them find better ways of doing their day-to-day work. Sharing our ideas this way helps our partners stay competitive and preserve jobs or support more people in need — and that benefits us all.

Toyota is the Founding Partner of the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (program FAME). In 2019, FAME moved under the leadership of The Manufacturing Institute to gain the infrastructure and network needed to support and grow the program. Toyota still participates in FAME and uses the Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program at eight manufacturing locations.
FAME provides a comprehensive, hands-on education that prepares individuals for a rewarding career in the industry. As part of The Manufacturing Institute, and through its coalition of employers who work collectively to support skills training programs, FAME is proactively developing a robust pipeline of qualified workers to close the skills gap.
