Toyota's Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) partners with leading research organizations across North America to study and help advance safer and more responsible ways of moving people. CSRC and it's partners - inter-disciplinary experts from leading universities, research hospitals and other organizations - collaborate to understand not only how to help protect people in car crashes, but also how to help avoid collisions altogether. Since it's founding in 2011, CSRC has partnered with 17 institutions on 34 products, with a focus on distracted driving, active safety and the at-risk populations of children, teens, seniors and pedestrians.
