Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. and its parent Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA) are committed to maintaining our customers’ confidence and trust as it relates to the privacy and security of their personal information. As described in relevant privacy notices, we share data with law enforcement in exigent circumstances or with customer consent to such sharing. We also may share information with law enforcement in response to appropriate legal process and as required by law. TMNA reviews each request individually to assess the circumstances, nature of the request, and sufficiency of the legal process before providing any vehicle data or account information. Types of process that generally are legally sufficient to require TMNA to provide certain vehicle data and account information (if available) to law enforcement in the United States are:
